Itinerary

Upon arrival at the Bucharest International Airport, our tour manager will guide you to the hotel. Spend the rest of the evening enjoying areas in and around your hotel. Spend the night at a luxury hotel in Bucharest.

Travelling from Bucharest to Sibiu offers a journey through some picturesque landscapes and historical sites in Romania. Explore Bucharest's highlights, such as the Palace of the Parliament, Revolution Square, and the Old Town. Visit the Village Museum (Muzeul Satului) to experience traditional Romanian village life. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and experience Bucharest's vibrant nightlife if time permits. On the way, you’ll stop at Curtea de Arges, the first capital of Wallachia. The city is famous for the Royal Church, a 14th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Cortes de Arges monastery is also the centre of a renowned legend wherein one of the construction workers buried his wife alive inside the walls. Later, you will continue to visit Sibiu, passing through Oltului Valley and stopping at Cozia Monastery, erected by Mircea the Elder in 1388. This is a beautiful church situated amidst magnificent natural scenery. In the afternoon, you will visit the medieval city of Sibiu, which was selected as the European Capital of Culture in 2007. Some places you will explore here include the 3 squares of Upper Town: Grand, Lesser, and Huet, the Liar’s Bridge, the Evangelical Church, and the Clock Tower.

In the morning, you will depart Sibiu to leave for Sighisoara. This medieval city is famous for the Clock Tower, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Some places you will visit include the School Children’s Ladder, the statue of Petofi Sandor, Hungary’s national poet, and the beautiful Catholic Church. In the afternoon, return to Bucharest with a stop at Brasov. Some places you will see include The Black Church, The Council Square, the First Romanian School Museum, and Biserica Sfantul Nicolae. Spend the night in Brasov.

Today, you will explore the Prahova Valley, a grand valley famous for its modern resorts and beautiful mountain scenery. Here, you will visit Bran Castle, a 14th-century fortress that became famous as the abode of the fictional Count Dracula. Next, you will move to Peles Castle, a former summer residence of the Romanian Royal Family. The three Christmas Prince films were filmed in Peles Castle. Move to Bucharest to spend the night in Romania’s capital city.
